A member asked:

If he has metastasis cancer possibly from colon would that be stage 4 and if so what is a prognosis with no treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very poor: Metastatic cancer to bone portends a fatal outcome unless it is one of those uncommon cancers that is curable with chemotherapy. However, the time frame is famously unpredictable. Local radiation to the bone lesions may help.
