Early Pregnancy: What you are experiencing is quite common in early pregnancy.  As long as you are not having bleeding like a period, or cramping, you should be fine.  And, it is reassuring that there is a healthy HB.  This is not unusual, however, if things change, see your OB right away.  Congratulations!

why do i worry so much about misscarriage in the first trimester when i have never had a miscarriage before? i can't stop! i have had 2 healthy babies.

I suspect: Some worrying is normal, but it sounds like you are worrying to the point where it is interfering with your normal life. If you are pregnant now i'd suggest talking with your OB about it when you next see him/her; you would probably find talking with a counselor or psychologist/iatrist helps too. Hope you feel better.

Quite variable: Most women gain about 2-4lbs.During the first trimester and 1 lb./wk from there. Some none, other my lose due to n/v. An average weight woman should gain a total of 25-35 lbs., underweight women 28-40 lbs., and overweight women 15-25 lbs. You don't have to "eat for two", but be sure to eat a variety of nutritious foods. Moderate exercise is also recommended, but talk to your doctor for more info.
