Generally yes: Studies have not shown an increase risk with amoxicillin during pregnancy although there are no control studies. Animal studies have shown no increase risk. Amoxil is listed as category 'B' drug and is generally considered safe in pregnancy. The condition been treated eg urinary infection may cause more harm to the pregnancy such a kidney infection and miscarriage.
