Until then try warm moist packs to the area 3 times per day for about 15 min each time.

i had a hernia repaired a month ago now i have hard lumps around the area , is this normal?

Probably okay: You are in the early stage of recovery – only one month out. Suture material and/or mesh are used in your hernia repair. You should not be able to feel the mesh, but you may be noticing tissue reactions to the underlying suture material. This should go away over time as the sutures absorb. Usually takes 12 to 16 weeks. Be patient and follow your doctor's directions.

Clavicle ?: Popping sounds usually come from disruption of a joint.  Since a fracture would be exquisitely painful, the most likely scenario in this area would be dislocation or swelling of the clavicular head (collar bone).  This would like cause some discomfort when moving the shoulder/arm on the side where the lump is located.  A fracture would likely be detectable with an xray.

It is: likely an early apocrine gland cystic infection.  Use warm compresses three times daily for 2-3 days.  If no improvement or worsening see your doctor or a quality urgent care center for evaluation.  If drainage can be effected with compresses itis likely no antibiotics are needed.  Drainage is paramount.  Antibiotics only contain and usually don't cure an abscess if it has progressed to that.

Questionable tumor: If the lumps are along  medial margin near spine which is what protrudes when one bends forward they for the most part cant be lymph nodes.  The latter are found  toward the armpit where the major vessels are.  U.S. cant dx lymph nodes and if hard one must consider possibility of  tumor or tumors of nerve origin arising from muscles of the scapula.  Should be evaluated for possible bx.

visible symptoms of cellulitis almost resolved however still have hard lump in the middle of the affected area....2days iv meds left should i worry?

No: It takes awhile for the tissues to soften. Your body will probably heal that area for 2years. Your doctors will monitor area anyway to see if you need more treatment.

Abscess: This sounds like an abscess. Bacteria get into clogged sebaceous glands or into the subcutaneous tissue and cause a pocket of pus to form. These pockets of pus usually need to be drained in order to heal. I would recommend having a physician examine the lesion, and advise you on treatment.

Need an exam: It's really hard to know what's wrong without seeing what you are talking about. I'd recommend a trip to the gyn doc for a good exam.

Yes but...: You can't know what it is until you get checked. May just be inflammation, but more serious things can be present as well.

Check with your pcp or a surgeon for a checkup.
