Coxsackie HFM infections in the U.S. usually go away on their own without complications.

Yes: Viral infections can occur with such minimal sx that you don't know you are ill. Hfm is well known for having minimal spots in some (& major in some).They can also have spots limited to a few at one location or just occasional mouth blisters. While active, the virus will shed in the saliva for at least a week & up to 6 weeks in the stool.
