The drugs you listed all help with symptoms of GERD or stomach ulcers, and they have different means by which they help patients with these problems.  The safest and easiest to take are antacids and H2 blockers.  Please consider rephrasing your question more specifically.

Natural?: It is not a common natural function to block normal function(as most meds do) it is more natural to support normal function. Changing diet, adding fruits and veggies, and adding digestive enzymes and probitoics can all help reflux.

Gastritis causes: Gastritis (inflammation of the stomach) can be caused by excess stomach acid associated with smoking, alcohol or caffeine.  Gastritis can also be due to anti-inflammatory medications (nsaids) e.G  Aleve (naproxen),  motrin/advil (ibuprofen) and others. Another cause: bile reflux after gallbladder removal. Diet has a minimal role and h2 blockers may need to be upgraded to ppi (prilosec, prevacid).

Of  course: H2 blockers (tagamet, zantac, (ranitidine) pepcid) reduce acid production, while antacids (mylanta, maalox) neutralize acid that has  already been produced. Talk to your doctor about stepping up to proton pump inhibitor treatment to achieve improved acid suppression, if clinically warranted by persistent acid-related symptoms refractory to the combination of h2-blockers and antacids.

Many meds for hives: H2 blockers are easy and inexpensive to try and they do sometimes help with treating chronic urticaria. They include cimetidine, ranitidine, Famotidine and nizatidine. They are all available over the counter without a prescription. In my experience, they rarely work well by themselves, but sometimes work well along with a good h1 blocker, like Cetirizine or fexofenadine. Use an allergist for help.

No clear answer. As: with all medications, the big issue is not the medication but the situation; the dominant issue. Being alive is fantastically complex. Rx meds are only single molecules recommended in specific quantities/time to shift behavior, hopefully toward better. Stomach acid production can vary a million fold/24 hr; pH 7 to pH 1. H2 blocker can ↓ acid 100 fold; PPIs 1,000 fold, of the million range.

Tests for H. Pylori.: Granted, some tests are more accurate and reliable than others, but most tests repeated three times should have sufficient accuracy to give us confidence in a negative result.  That being said, the EGD with biopsy would likely be the most definitive.

our son had his peg removed in january but the wound is still leaking slightly. he is on nexium esomeprazole and silbecor cream to reduce skin burn. is there perhaps some stronger h2 blockers you would recommend or other solution speed up the healing?

Delayed healing: Many times a wound infection may impair healing. He will benefit from having his wound reevaluated by his treating physician with cultures as felt needed per direct exam. H2 blockers are not as strong as proton pump inhibitors and not expected to influence healing at this point.

Bile reflux: Unfortunately bile reflux often doesn't respond to the same treatments used for acid reflux, but it's still worthwhile to try them as both conditions may coexist. . Bile reflux has been treated with a medication called URSO or by surgery. I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist with special interest and experience with bile reflux and it's treatment.
