Careful on the long: Be careful with the a ppi as a 19 year old man. With prolonged use,  they can cause rebounding (addiction) and seem to cause osteoporosis. Try using an h1 blocker like zantac (ranitidine) or pepcid.  Give it a couple of weeks and see if it resolves. If it does not, follow up with your pcp.

i get acid reflux after eating a lot, i've taken antiacids which didn't work, proton pump inhibitors which didn't work well, h-pylori was negative. ive cut out all foods that have a risk and done everything adviced like raising the bed.

Reflux: It sounds based on your post that the reflux symptoms happen after you eat a lot. The main  change will be reducing the quantity of food eaten at one meal. Stay in touch with your pediatrician and gastroenterologist. Usually work up is needed in order to assign symptoms appropriately. Losing weight if overweight will be critical in the long run.

Reflux: Symptomatic reflux that fails to respond to ppis needs further evaluation by a gastroenterologist and will likely require an upper endoscopy and biopsy to rule out diseases such as eosinophilic esophagitis.

Weening: Possibly start by going every other day for 1-2 weeks, then 1 every 2 days for 1-2 weeks.  If you get rebound reflux, you can use Pepcid (famotidine) or Tums as needed.  Finally you may be able to be off it.  Also, if you can change your diet and eat smaller meals that may help some.  Always  refer to your physician for proper instructions.

: No. Germs cause pneumonia. A person who is on PPI's can get pneumonia just like a person not on PPI's. If you ride a bicycle into traffic and get run over, the bike did not cause your injury, the car that runs you over did.

In general yes: but they do have side effects, including osteoporosis, infections, allergic reactions, etc.

No easy answer: Ongoing pain in the upper abdomen that has not responded to standard treatments can pose a difficult problem to solve. Best to start with a thorough evaluation by a good gastroenterologist.

Yes: Need to asses to need  for long term therapy and no long term therapy should be left without an endoscopy at some point to dertemine the etiology of the disease causing long term use. Gerd with barretts or chronic dyspepsia all can be a cuse for long term ppi. Downgrading to an antihistamine suce as Zantac (ranitidine) is appropriate as well you should always consult you doctor  whenever you use long term meds.

Depends: If you are on the ppi for acid reflux and doing well, then probably not. If you are not getting satisfactory relief, then that is an issue and certainly antireflux surgery is an option. Discuss it with your prescribing doctor.

Unrelated issues: Need to take proton pump inhibitor is usually to treat gastric acid. Normal or extra gastric acid usually is not related to cancer.
You may wish to see your doctor if there are other symptoms that are causing you concern.
