: Bladder cancer would be my first concern. Someone needs to look in ur bladder.

gross hematuria with blood clots happened after sex. urologists did a cystoscopy and it was all clear. urinalysis was normal as well, no tb either. ct pelvic and abdominal cavity no findings. i'm on lexipro and take cialis, could that combo be it?

See remark: You have been through all the testing young man.I suggest you seek a second opinion.preferably if there is a large medical center such as University Hospital near by.Do you or anyone in your family has a bleeding tendency ? are you on any medications ? even aspirin

: No. There are a multitude of conditions that may be the cause. Have your doc begin the process of sorting through the issue.

what would blood in urine look like? would blood clots in urine float and all be different in shape and would you have pain when passing these clots? and would it be possible to have normal yellow urine color with blood clots?

: Blood in the urine would look like blood but there can be trace blood and it would be found with urinalysis. Blood clots could happen with kidney stones and yea there would be pain. If you have kidney issues contact your doctor.

Possibly...: Could be a ruptured blood vessel, more likely in the prostate gland. Depending on your age and use of tobacco, if this recurs, it should be evaluated by a urologist (if over 35 y/o) or a nephrologist. Probably not serious if one time occurrence and no pain with urination or ejaculation.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You have obviously seen a doctor. Your doctor is in much better position to advise you than it feasible in this forum.  It would be prudent to see a urologist.

1 infections in bladder or kidneys
2 bladder or kidney stone
3tumours and cancer of bladder or kidneys
4benign prostatic hypertrophy and prostatitis
5kidney disease like glomerulonephritis
6 inherited alpert sybdrome and sickle cell disease
7meds like aspirin, anticoagulants, anti cancer drugs
8 some time strenuous exercise can too
blood can be visible or microscopic.

if a urinalysis shows no blood in urine  a week after a single gross hematuria event, does that mean the issue has resolved? (i.e. possible kidney stone passed, etc). i am on eliquis and had left flank plain 4 days before gross hematuria occurrence?

Yes, possible: Above scenario appears consistent with a passed stone, however you are left with the 2 conditions that contributed, taking a blood thinner and the propensity of forming stones and the risk for another such episode in the future remains high. Make sure all your treating docs are aware of recent events.

More testing: You are "spilling"'out protein and blood in your urine.  A CT scan is helpful in ruling out major structural caused and large stone, the urine analysis ruled out infection, the cystoscope would evaluate for abnormalities of the bladder.  Other considerations would be systemic problems such as a coagulopathy or inflammatory condition, lupus being an example.  If all those tests neg, consider biopsy
