Need To See Doc: There is not enough information to give a good answer.  You may have strained a muscle in your groin, may have a back problem that is affecting a nerve, may have an infection, may be due to a medication or side effect of something in your diet.  It may also be normal or related to anxiety.  See your doctor to have it checked out.  If you have more symptoms, see doctor sooner.

Soft tissue: Groin becoming tense at time and getting tingling may mean your soft tissues get stretched. It may not result from any injury but at times with any unusual stretch of the joint and soft tissue can result in that. Now relax and stretch tour body and it should go away in a week or so. Anything lasting more than that needs to be checked by your doctor.

Tingling: Tingling to the genitals can be associated with problems that cause tingling elsewhere such as electrolye problems, calcium, magnesium imbalance.  Blood sugar problems can cause tingling. Could be referred neuropathic pain from your back or if you ride a bike pudendal nerve irritation.

i have for more than 2 years the sensation of stinging and tingling on skin groin area, what can it be from? no rash or something visible on skin...

Likely neuritis: Most likely a neuritis, nerve inflammation, causing this.  It can be helped with topical doxepin cream and orally by tricyclic antidepressants like amitryptilline from your primary care doctor or dermatologist, if they confirm the diagnosis.  Capsaicin from red pepper can help too but initially it can be very uncomfortable to use for the first four days.

i have been having a tingling feeling in my groin area for some time now. no rash of any kind, and not at all painful. it feels like a vibration, sometimes localized in my penis, other times  around the groin. i can live with it but should i?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You could try multivitamins and sublingual vitamin B12, in case the symptoms are due to vitamin deficiency. If that does not help it would be prudent to see a doctor.

See your doctor: You arec diagnosing yourself without knowing what you have.You dont say where the hernia is and it is about time you see your doctor and if pain is bad go to the er, as it may be obsrtucted or getting srangulated.

Possible STD: Good on you for using protection! But it isn't 100% effective- especially if not used correctly or the condom malfunctions or breaks. You should get checked for an STD if the symptoms continue.

Sciatica: This sounds like your sciatic nerve is the cause of the pain as it runs down the back of the leg to the foot.  If you sit with your legs stretched straight out in front of you and raise your leg pulling your toes toward you and the pain gets worse it is the sciatic nerve.  If the pain continues  or worsens seek medical attention.

You may have a: fungal infection.  Please see you doc who can take a look and provide help.  Peace and good health.  Change underwear daily if so.  Fungus likes dark and damp places.
