No: Hi,Groin swelling can be hernia,lipoma(benign fatty growth),cyst,lymph nodes(due to infection in leg,cancer).Fever only if the swelling is lymph nodes die to infection in the leg.I would have it checked by a doctor.Best wishes.

Not worth worry: Unless your lymph node is growing in size  and it gets bigger than 1-2 cm over the next 1,2 or 3 months, you have no reasons to worry about. There is no medical condition associated with a "reactive" lymph node. It is a vague and nonspecific term. So I would ignore it unless it changes in size which is not going to happen in 1,2 or 3 weeks time.

Most likely OK: Pain, swelling and numbness after hernia surgery is normal. The numbness will last for a long time, but you will get used to it in time. Pain and swelling usually goes away within 4-6 weeks. If the swelling increased, was associated with redness or any drainage, it might be due to infection, in which case you need to see your surgeon right away. Avoid strenuous activities and heavy lifting 6 weeks

Maybe diverticulitis: There could be a lot of reasons for this but the first one I think it was the reticulitis. It would be best for you to see your physician and get this clarified. There are other conditions that can cause, discomfort. It may be a simple issue but it needs to be evaluated.

Or it could be basic swelling that just requires warm compresses and a motrin. You should call your surgeon's office and obtain an office visit to be sure.
