Maybe: If only occurred one time and then dissapear i would not worry about it, however is you get groin pain in a continuos basis that could indicate pathology of your hip joint and in that case should cosult a physician.

Could be Hip or...: Pain laterally & upper thigh where you would think of your hip joint being can be bursitis of the hip. Aching deep groin pain can be a pblm w/ the ball & socket of the hip joint on that side. You would also think of a lower abdomen/groin hernia, or a strained muscle with an attachment in the groin, of which there are many. Start w a physical exam (hernia) and progress to xray of the pelvis/hip.

treating bv and yeast for six months, now experience groin pain when sitting. is this from the infections?

Probably not: Neither of these would cause pain in the groin. If it&#x27;s severe or doesn&#x27;t clear up soon, see your doctor about other causes. Although BV can be a difficult problem, persistent or recurrent vaginal yeast should be easy to control. A single dose of fluconazole (Diflucan®) by mouth usually is effective. And vaginal boric acid often is effective to prevent and treat both yeast and BV. Discuss w/ doc.

Muscle spasm?: It could be a muscle spasm
Which  would be the most likelyIt can also represent hernia. This would be typically associated with a bulge in the area that is larger with standing and coughing. If severe, or unrelenting, see your primary are doctor for a proper evaluation. Hope this helps!

Possibly: It would unusual to tear at age 16 without a precipitating trauma. Gluteal pain may be lower back rather than hip. See an orthopedist and have the issue evaluated.

Maybe: It could be from the swimming. Sometimes a flexor strain can do this. You also want to evaluate her hips to see if she has any growth issues.

Urinary tract: All sounds like an issue with urinary tract except the calf soreness.  With history of enlarged prostate I would first assume you are having an issue with your prostrate, such as an infection.  Prostate can cause groin and back pain.  Have your urine checked and see your MD.

See an OB/GYN: This could be due to numerous issues and in order to be correctly diagnosed you need to be seen and examined.  It sounds severe enough that you should do this asap.  Either see your gynecologist urgently or perhaps go to er. Hope this clears up soon.

Yes: See a chiropractor, good massage therapist or craniosacral therapist. Acupuncture and chinese medicine can help a lot too. Could also be sciatica which is a little more than just si pain. The recommendations are the same.
