Possible: I would not be surprised if you continued to have  these symptoms just 2 weeks after this procedure. However, you really should check with the orthopedist who did the procedure to determine what the typical recovery period should be and what you should expect.

: I am not familiar with the surgery. However you should discuss all these items with your surgeon. He /she is the person that will know the answer to these questions.  You should not be afraid to discuss any concerns with your surgeon. Since they are performing the surgery they will know what experience and expectations you will have.

seroma size of grapefruit in groin 3 weeks post lymph node removal. what to do, very painful. ?

Painful seroma: if large and painful have it be evaluated by the lymph node removing surgeon with a view to possible ultrasound-guided drainage for symptom relief and to exclude infection

had a lymph node removed in the groin. had a fluid filled sack form. surgeon said it was a seroma. got a 2nd opinion. surgeon said it was a lymphocele. do i have any treatment options? he gave me no treatment options and it's causing leg numbness?

had hysterectomy 5 wks.  seroma drained 1 wk ago.  groin/abdomen/upper leg burning pain returned but worsening. doc felt it might be nerve issue too??

Abdominal pain: You did not note why you had the hysterectomy. It could be related to that if ovarian or uterine mass issue. It could be nerve pain but also could be recurrent seroma or infected seroma or adhesions (scarring that occurs post op). Consider repeat CT/ultrasound.Discuss with your  doctor/ER/urgent care.

3.5 weeks post op for menisectomy and debridement for oa. still have snapping and fluid inside joint with some pain at times. is this typical?

Potentially: There is still some time to improve from your procedure, so it is entirely possible you will be a lot better in the next 3-4 weeks.  I would certainly let your surgeon know you are still having problems.

6 weeks post left inguinal hernia op. lump, sore under incision. ct scan show trace free fluid in middle of pelvis & fat stranding/mild soft tissue thickening in left inguinal region. will this resolve & how? how long? also, had seroma which resolved?

Observation. : If no redness at site or fever seromas usually absorb. But you should see your surgeon soon.

whats the difference between debridement and a root scaling?

General vs specific.: Root scaling is a process whereby built up plaque is scraped of with a fine tool from the enamel of the tooth, generally by a dental hygienist, or dentist.  Debridement is a general term for surgically cleaning of a any wound, any place in the body at all levels of skin. For example, there are 4 stages of pressure sores: stage i-4, depending on the depth (3 goes to mm, 4 to bone). Deep ones-debride.

please advise what is the difference between debridement and root scaling?

Big difference.: Deep cleaning is scaling and root planning, which is treatment for gum disease with pockets deeper than 3-4mm. It takes more than one visit and costs considerably more. When indicated, it is absolutely necessary. Full mouth debridement is usually when someone hasn't had a cleaning in a while and during the initial hygiene visit, the tartar above the gum line is removed. Srp may be required next.

can i drink  after a dental debridement?

Drink: Not good idea, especially if dentist prescribed a sedative.
