Painful seroma: if large and painful have it be evaluated by the lymph node removing surgeon with a view to possible ultrasound-guided drainage for symptom relief and to exclude infection

Drainage ASAP: With the very large size and pain, it sounds like it may be infected and would recommend drainage and antibiotics in the very near future .Especially so if there is also redness of the surrounding skin and/or fever. Your doctor needs to determine if there is also pus in the seroma as well. See your doctor ASAP.
