Cough: Try Delsym over the counter.  Drink a lot of fluids and get some rest. You need antibiotics when the secretions turn colored.  For pain take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin.  Good luck and feel better!

Colon biopsy: Biopsy does not show mucus.
They did not biopsy what they saw or it was not there when biopsied. Discuss with your GI Dr.

Mucus: Don't know what you mean by spinal pain.

Could be yeast: Yeast vaginitis can give a whitish, clumpy discharge with itching;however, there can ba many things that could potentially cause this.  It's always best in this case to see a doc and get properly diagnosed

: Thick mucous can stem from a variety of issues. The most common being dehydration. If the mucus is dark yellow or green, there could also be an infection present. Talk to your Dr for an in person examination and treatment. Increasing your non caffeinated fluid intake will help thin the mucus even if infected. You are at risk for more severe problems if this is not addressed.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It suggests chronic inflammation of sinuses. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Is it from the nose: If you are talking about nasal discharge in an otherwise healthy child, it can be sinusitis and may need antibiotics to hasten recovery, meanwhile saline nasal washes would help till you see a doctor. If from the bowels, you better check with the pediatrician . Wish you and your child wellness
