: A grade 1 retrolisthesis is not especially significant unless it is causing you pain. You should see a PM&amp;R doctor, also known as a Physiatrist, who can further assess your condition and will likely send you to the most appropriate physical therapy for treatment.

Pain: First question - were any of these MRI findings believed to be the cause of the back and left side pain?  Has an orthopedic surgeon been consulted?  If not, recommend that.  Depending on his/her findings - there may be a number of treatment options.  Acupuncture won't fix the actual intervertebral disc problems but it can often reduce inflammation in the surrounding area &amp; improve range of motion,

If stable,then grade: 1, then physical therapy would be recommended. If mild grade 2, then observation and continued cautious physical therapy. If extreme grade 2, grade 3, or, hopefully not, a grade 4, then surgery can be recommended for necessary stabilization. If progressive, also stabilization. Many people have grade 1's and even some 2's can do well with pt and medications for pain if necessary.

: Good question. Would consider good orthopedist with regenerative experience or physical medicine and rehab MD, DPT who also has experience with Pilates.  You may have to ask around  and interview a few.

CT &amp; spinal problems: This could be normal if you are not having pain.  But suspect you had this done because of pain and you must discuss with your Dr.  I do not know you.  Your team does.

Degenerating discs: Part of the aging process. Some people are more prone than others. Also risk factors like smoking and obesity can accelerate the process

: The first Doctor to see should be :Neurologist,then  by Consultation with Orthopaedic  Surgeon.The reason is: you need to have a precise diagnosis of your spine problem to adjust the right treatment just for you.There is no indication for any manipulation or directed exercises  prior to a correct diagnosis …for an appropriate treatment.

Lumbar Disk: 70-80% of lumbar disk herniations will improve without surgery, especially in a woman. Try to avoid activity which increases pain down your leg to allow the nerve an environment to heal faster. Rest, physical therapy, non and steroid medication, and traction (decompression) are all proven nonsurgical treatment options.
