i got hit in the eye with a volleyball and now i have a grey spot in my peripheral. should i be worried?

Maybe: This may be a concussion of the retina called commotio retina. Sometimes, this may be associated with bleeding in the eye, retinal tears or detachments or other ocular damage.  It's a good idea to have a dilated eye exam with pressure check asap.

i hit my temple about a week ago. after that i was fine but since then when i move my head the spot hurts a little.  no other symptoms.  i'm worried?

Not To Worry: Don't worry. That's a sensitive spot and the soreness can last a while. If there was anything really serious, it would have shown-up by now, especially in your age group. If you develop a serious headache or nausea then maybe you should let a doctor know, but the likelihood of that happening is really low. If you bump that same area again, it'll really hurt, so be careful.

Several things: This is a problem that requires a face-to-face meeting with your doctor.  In that meeting, your doctor will listen to you, perform a throrough examination and possibly order labs or other tests. Based on this information, he/she will be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.

Red spot on eye: Take a picture and send it if you can. Most red spots are not dangerous; can be due to: irritation, dryness, allergy; broken blood vessel; pinguecula; pterygium; foreign body; tumor. See your eyemd otherwise to be sure nothing of concern if persists or if have any pain or vision change.

Maybe: This may signifiy a problem with the retina.  When you blink it stresses the retina with rapid changes in light intensity and may uncover a weaker spot.  Should be looked at with a dilated examination by an ophthalmologist.

See Eye doctor ASAP: If there are corneal injuries then these may not improve without treatment from an ophthalmologist. The eye doctor will perform a special exam to see if there are any abrasions or ulcers.
