Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, if you are on any medications, including herbals or over the counter, that may do it. If you are overweight, that could explain it too. Neither level is too high.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

May be normal 4u: Around 1 person in 1000 just runs a high ggt; it's hereditary. If everything else is okay including alk phos i'd ignore it unless your physician is concerned. If there's anything else to suggest liver disease, these enzymes keep deadly things like wilson's and hemochromatosis and hepatitis from sneaking up on us -- & with ggt, alcohol and med allergies -- get follow-up.

Fatty liver: B"sd
these are liver enzymes with GGT being the most sensitive to anything that can effect the liver, from too much to drink to numerous viral infections, drug exposures to name a few.  As an endocrinologist most elevations of liver enzymes are due to fatty liver. Would repeat your tests in a couple weeks - very likely back to normal.

: This is a sign of liver irritation. You need to follow up with the doctor who ordered labs to investigate potential causes — medications, alcohol, viruses, etc.

i got pain in my right side under ribcage, i had blood work done and it came ok ( just ggt bit high its about 2 numbers high then normal, any suggestio?

Gall bladder?: This could be due to gallstones, peptic ulcer disease, irritable bowel, function dyspepsia, pancreatic disease or other.  You should discuss your results with your doctor.  An ultrasound of your liver and gallbladder should be done and perhaps and endoscopy if the above is negative.

Not all AST is liver: This could be due to rhabdomyolysis. Intense muscle breakdown can cause elevated ast. Hemolysis can cause elevated bilirubing and the GGT would remain normal in these circumstances.

Probably nothing: This s a minimal elevation which can be caused from many things- alcohol, virus, or meds. This is not a clinically relevant elevation.

Possibly meds: Commonly GGTP is elevated due to medication use and occasionally alcohol.  If the remainder of your liver function tests are normal and you are feeling fine, likely this is something your physician can simply follow.

Other Chemicals: Rarely needs to be quantified because if it is not alcohol, i suspect it is due to some other chemical or drugs that you are exposed to like Phenytoin and carbamazepine.

I'd ignore it: Unless you have some other reason to be concerned about your health, I'd stop worrying. Some folks have a gene that gives a somewhat or even a markedly elevated GGT.
