Not all AST is liver: This could be due to rhabdomyolysis. Intense muscle breakdown can cause elevated ast. Hemolysis can cause elevated bilirubing and the GGT would remain normal in these circumstances.

Gilbert's : I think you were asking about elevated bilirubin with normal ast/alt/ggt. There is a benign condition called gilbert's..It is seen with isolated elevated bilirubin. Nothing to be alarmed of. Ask your md about it! great question!

Need more info: If only you bilirubin is elevated the possibilities would include a benign condition called gilbert's disease, but other possibilities such hemolytic anemia should be considered. What is the indirect and direct bilirubin fractions, how high is the bilirubin, and what is your hemoglobin level?
