Possible migraines: If by gastritis you mean, nausea and vomiting, associated with headache and nausea and vomiting do not persist after the headache has resolved then these are all part of migraine headache in addition to several other symptoms like light and sound sensitivity..

PPI not the answer?: There are lots of stomach diseases that cause dyspepsia poorly responsive to PPI's. These can be categorized as: problems with inflammation (e.g. Ulcers), with infection (e.g. H.pylori or parasites), with motility (examples: gastroparesis, gastric outlet obstruction), with secretion (hyper or hypo-acidity), infiltrative (lymphoma, cancer), blood flow (gastropathies), functional dyspepsias, etc.

Recurrence: Sometimes h pylori does not clear with one treatment round, you may need to be tested again.

Depression medical: Recovery depends on cause: infection, inflammation, or chronic: irritable bowel syndrome or disease?  Regardless, it is frustrating when u can't do what u want! hopefully this is a temp. Issue but antidepress. W serotonin often help GI problems ; may help ease ur frustration, which be if nothing else b comforted that u r are not alone in ur feelings, so commonly felt w diagnosis! be strong, lemur!

why do i have abdominal pain about 20 min after every bowel movement? its like ibs or gastritis symptoms that are only triggered by a bowel movement

IBS: Does your symptom occur after a normal BM? If your BM's are loose, some residual colon spasm could be occurring. Although it is less common, abdominal discomfort after a BM can occur in IBS. If you strain to have a BM this muscular strain could cause your symptom. You may want to consult a gastroenterologist if this is a common occurrence.

i've been given ranitidine by my dr for gastritis symptoms, day 5 now and no improvement of symptoms and have today started to get acid like diarrhea... is this normal? aldo should mention this is the second time in 12 months, symptoms went away with zant

Gastritis: Not that there is anything wrong with Zantac...but if your having significant symptoms a Proton Pump Inhibitor is best.  It needs to be taken on an EMPTY stomach (20 minutes before eating).  It is OTC...several brands like Prilosec, Prevacid and Nexium (esomeprazole).  Just ask your doctor,   If the symptoms are stubborn..or re-occur...see a GI doc for an endoscopy.

could it be atrophic gastritis?, i feel as if im not healing from gastritis symptoms ( h pylori cleared) , its been nearly 5 months since onset.

Go back to doctor: You may need gastroscopy done. Go and see the doctor who diagnosed the h. Pylori, or if they were not a gastroenterologist , go and see one.  Good luck, .

i'm having a sickness in my upper abdomen, but it's not like my usual gastritis symptoms. it get's a little better after i eat. no other symptoms.

Digestive: could be your gallbladder ,could be your stomach,small bowels 
did you noticed if it happen after specific kind of food 
or if it is related to milk or milk product
is it associated with any change of bowel habit like diarrhea or constipation or associated with too much bloating and gas
you need to see a doctor to answer all of these questions and to help you find out what exactly the problem

why could a ppi and dgl licorice make my gastritis symptoms worse? (eliminated acidic foods also??

: Time to question diagnosis. Whenever using drugs or supplements expected to help with symptoms attributed to a medical condition and seeing the opposite, the diagnosis needs to be confirmed firmly first. Your gastroenterologist would be best to further advise.
