There are many: potential reasons for the symptoms you are experiencing but unfortunately the diagnosis cannot be narrowed down on the internet. It could be simple lactose intolerance or gall stones or ulcers. You need to be seen by a health care professional and evaluated including some testing.

Night GERD attacks: You have greater symptoms of gerd at night as you as lying in pain, normally in a supine position. If you are consistently taking drugs similar to Prilosec (p), you should be symptom free with daily dosing. You may have severe gerd and my need to take twice a day. Speak to your physician about your problem.

Gas: If this is a longstanding problem, lactose or gluten intolerance are possible causes especially if you eliminate gassy foods and beverages and symptoms don't improve. Try an elimination diet of dairy products and, if no improvement, eliminate gluten or wheat foods. A gastroenterologist is best to consult for evaluation if you need help.

i have lots of stomach gas and this feeling on my throat like i've swallowed toothpaste i have taken nexomep and gaviscon for 2 weeks and it isn't helping what should i do?

Gastric distress: OK, so you have a problem and it is't self healing, and OTC' s aren't helping. What ou need now is a telephone. Call your General Physician and make an appointment. If you don't have one, go to Urgent Care. You need a thorough examination, review ofnyor medical history and all meds, prescribed and recreational, lab tests, imaging. Get professional help.

almost every morning for the past 1-2 months, i wake up with the feeling that i have to burp, like there's gas trapped in my chest/throat. eventually i burp, but sometimes i have to force myself to do so. this isn't nausea, right?

: No, a burp air that is trapped. Nausea is feeling sick to your stomach. Does not have to be related to a burp. Not sure why you have this often it is due to eating too rapidly and swallowing air that has to be released.

Reflux: Yes, anxiety and stress have been shown to worsen reflux.  There are certain foods that can make reflux worse, too, like spicy foods and greasy foods. If you have reflux that causes heartburn, it is also possible that your reflux might get all the way up to the level of your throat and your voice box.  When it get this high in your throat, we call it laryngopharyngeal reflux.  Should see your dr.

Raspy voice: There are many possible causes of a raspy voice. Some are related to upper respiratory tract problems, such as postnasal drip, and some to other problems, such as inadequately treated Gerd.  there are other potential causes related to the larynx also. You should be evaluated by your doctor to see if you need to increase or change your reflux medicine and to evaluate for other problems. Good luck.

Chest pains: Regardless, could be only muscle pain. However, pain in your chest is a serious medical condition. It is always a red flag and appointment with your PCP for re-evaluation or a cardiologist is warranted. Take care.

IBS: These symptoms, if recurrent, are consistent with an irritable bowel syndrome where a hyperactive gastrointestinal tract pattern is stimulated as food enters your stomach. This reaction can be blunted by taking anticholinergic medication like dicyclomine 1/2 hour before breakfast. Other possibilities include lactose or gluten intolerance. Discuss this with your physician or a gastroenterologist.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help.
