Ganglion cysts: even when surgically removed can reoccur. Treatment involves analgesics and possibly another operation. Its a tough call. Read about ganglion cysts (they are sometimes called Giddion Cysts when intentionally ruptured by striking them with a heavy object like a Bible (which is old days was often the largest book in the doctor's office !)

See your podiatrist.: Swollen feet and ganglion cysts are possibly two separate diagnoses.  Swollen feet must be evaluated because they can have many causes including kidney and heart problems.  If a ganglion cyst is painful it can be treated by removing the gel like fluid inside, but they often recur.  A more definitive treatment is to remove them at the source, which is within a joint.   This must be done with surgey.

?Gout ?: I wonder if you also have gouthy arthritis. Its worth to have your your acid checked by a simple blood test. If it's gout , Colchicine  for several days , will help to take care of swelling, redness and pain. Meanwhile your doctor will advice you how to reduce your uric acid level with medications and diet.

Injury unknown:  this can be from unknown injuries. Morning another consideration is you are develop an arthritis. You need to see your physician is see if you have to see a rheumatologist to help clarify what is happening. You can ice it today.

Not normal....: Not sure when you fell or if you already had x-rays but a swollen, red foot is not normal. You definitely need to see a doctor ASAP to figure out if you have a fracture in your foot. You also need to make sure you don’t have an infection-depending where and how you fell, it is possible you had a tiny skin opening that is now developing into a skin infection.
