i have a cyst close to the gallbladder fossa. i have had a cholecystectomy and have reacurring pain. could this be remanent gallbladder left over?

Cyst: I believe that your surgeon and the radiologist should review your images and come up with a plan to further identify the exact nature of the mass and determine what other studies or procedures would be most helpful in pinpointing the diagnosis(ct scan, mri). I would be concerned about an abscess, for example. Would a needle biopsy be advisable? Is an exploratory operation indicated?

there is a 2.9 x 1.9 cm multiobulated t2 hyperintense hepatic lesion just above the gallbladder fossa.   what does this mean?

Liver neoplasm: Ask your MD if it represents a benign or malignant growth.  If the MRI is not diagnostic then you need a per cutaneous needle liver biopsy

: Fatty liver disease occurs when the body begins to store too many lipids in the liver. This can occur in obesity, uncontrolled diabetes, hypercholesterolemia or excess alcohol consumption. If left untreated, it can result in liver scarring and damage. it is important to discuss this finding with your primary care Dr and come up with a plan specific to your medical history that can address this.

gallbladder surgery 5 days ago. ct scan showed 4.9cm hematoma in gallbladder fossa. hemoglobin numbers were at 8.6 slowly rising yesterday. having soreness & tender to touch pain where gallbladder used to be. is that normal? how long does it last?

: I would expect significant tenderness at the operative site for another week or so &amp; mild tenderhess for another week as surgery does cause injury. However the operating surgeon, who knows exactly what went on during the procedure can advise you best.

had gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago. i am having burning sharp pains in the right side of my abdomen. ct scan showed stranding and edema and fluid throughout the gallbladder fossa. hida scan showed no definite extravasation. any idea of the problem?

i was discharged from the hospital after a biliary stent was placed due to bile leakage, and my biloma was not drained. feel abdominal pain / diarrhea. gallbladder fossa fluid measures 5.5 x 7.8 x 5.9cm. should it have been drained? how to proceed?

: The doc who treated you will decide - so pl see him/her. Small collections often get absorbed, If not they can be drained by a needle . good luck

: The green color is due to bile in the gallbladder. If there is no bile, it would be flesh colored.
