Gallbladder surgery 5 days ago. ct scan showed 4.9cm hematoma in gallbladder fossa. hemoglobin numbers were at 8.6 slowly rising yesterday. having soreness & tender to touch pain where gallbladder used to be. is that normal? how long does it last?

I would expect significant tenderness at the operative site for another week or so & mild tenderhess for another week as surgery does cause injury. However the operating surgeon, who knows exactly what went on during the procedure can advise you best.
