i abuse laxatives and since my lowest weight i have gained 4kgs when i tried to stop cold turkey for a week, am i retaining water? my face appears big

Concerned: If you have been abusing laxatives this suggests a possible eating disorder. This would mean you are likely to think you look "big" when actually you might be returning to a healthier weight. I'm concerned about the possibility it is an eating disorder, as these can be quite deadly actually. Please consider getting evaluated by a mental health clinician.

my son has a big head. 50% and is small for height and weight 3% he eats like crazy but isn't growing. he is 29 months old, weighs 27 lbs.

Congrats!!: Sounds like you've got a wonderful healthy boy with a big brain who's not fat.  
Please talk to the boys pediatrician about your concerns.  Chances are he will grow into his head, but get him examined for peace of mind and also to make sure he's ok.

Not after puberty: Your head grows fastest during first 2 yrs of life, then slows down until puberty with growth spurt. Once you're done with growth in height--about 16-17 for girls, and 19-20 for boys, your head will not likely have any significant growth--except maybe for gigantism. You are now 45, your headsize won't change even as you are growing sideway. Keep healthy and ideal body weight. Cosult doc. Good luck.

why doesn't the human skull get smaller after loosing alot of weight ? my friend weigthed about 300lbs, now he weight 160lbs and has a big head :(

Bone mass is: fixed after maturation at it's adult size and is not affected during weight loss.  Your friend's head only appears larger in relation to his/her girth which is now apparently one half what you were used to seeing.  In a short time you will see that it appears normal.  He or she should be congtatulated,

Growth curves: Both the weight and length are less than the 1% as measured.  It really depends on:  was he premature?  If so, how early and what were his birth wt and length?  If he has demonstrated go growth from birth, then be reassured.  However, if he's falling "off" his curves then we need to sort out why.

Time and Water: Patience will see you through this phase of weakness and light headed feeling. This is common in the beginning. Just drink lots of water. Stay away from simple refined sugars and carbohydrates. Good Luck and keep it up!

10 week old baby length and weight both 85th percentile. head circumference 95th percentile. does this mean he has a big head in proportion to body?

Not really: I don't consider that difference worth anything more than noting. Big babies are big all over and this falls within the normal variation of such measurements. If the kid was 50% weight/length and 95% head, I would just measure the parents head to see where baby inherited it from. There are other issues to consider with a big head, but not from the reported info.

my sister (24 y/o) woke up at 3 a.m. with bad dizziness that worsens every time she turns her head. shes also gained some weight, and her period hasnt shown up for 4 months. my mom has vertigo. what was the cause of this? how can i help my sister?

: Probably vestibulitis (inner ear viral infection). If 1st episode, Urgent Care (or Primary Care) can help.  If long history of similar would start with ENT (ear doctor)

Weight : Sudden weight gain is usually fluid retention.  The headache could be related and the palpitation also. Would recommend getting checked out.
