Not likely: I really need more information but assuming the wound is protected from dirty hands picking at it two months i would be concerned about it.  If it has been open to the air itneeds some kind of dressing either way seeyour doctor.

External ear: I am sure you mean a possible fungal infection of the EXTERNAL EAR CANAL, not the inner ear.  You need a culture of the drainage of the ear canal skin to document the presence of fungus.  The most common cause of dry ears causing itchiness is the over use of Q-tips to clean your ears of wax.  Wax in the ear canal is important and healthy and will migrate out on its own.

Yes: Chronic fungal infection in ear can cause partial hear loss or complete hearing loss,headache,liquid drainage from ear and dizziness.

Ear: Not enough information to make an accurate assessment. Wax/debris from the ear can be various colors, mostly in the yellow-orange-brown family. If you were outdoors, and more specifically, in the dirt, you can have blackish color to your ear wax. You would need an evaluation with your PCP in person to take a look in your ear and take a complete history to make an accurate diagnosis.

Ear and jaw pain: May be unrelated, but hard to say.  I recommend seeing your doctor to rule out any other ongoing infection or spread of the fungal infection.

hi. i have a fungal infection on the back of my ear. the doctor gave me fucicort and elica-m. how should i apply both? are these harmful?

Accepted Answer

No: The rule of thumb is to wait 30 minutes before applying the next topical medication. However I don't see any problem even if you apply the creams one after another .
