Monitoring Centers: The lymphatic vessels/ absorbs and carry things too big to go into the arteries and veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food.  The lymph nodes "taste" the lymph to see if anything bad is there like bacteria, viruses, cancers, etc.  When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts.  They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react.

Gallbladder symptoms: Nerves to the gallbladder can give pain in upper abdomen, lower chest, or sometimes in the right shoulder. If you have had ultrasound or other gallbladder test (often hida scan is done) and have continuing symptoms, it is reasonable to ask your doctor to refer you to a surgeon. 

Gall bladder removal is commonly done, and most people do well with it.

just had hida scan hat shows 0 percent gallbladder function. i have been experiencing right sided chest pain for a while. is surgery recommended?

Pain, GI upset: There are many gallbladder issues that can cause symptoms.  Formation of stones in the gallbladder can cause problems if a stone migrates into the bile channel causing blockage.  In addition, the gallbladder can become inflamed or infected.  Also, the gallbladder can lose its ability to empty.  These issues can cause abdominal pain and loose stools/fever.  See your doctor to get evaluated.

my child was born with fully functioning lungs, due to environmental issues he started having chest infections. he's 3 and has been treated for chest infections about 3 times now. the last being mid march 2020. he's coughing persistently again...

Confusing post: The average infant is expected to get 4-6 upper respiratory infections/yr &amp; these can include an occasional one with lower airway effects. Some docs use antibiotics with these when they feel a bronchitis may worsen without meds. Your post is otherwise vague &amp; not specific to a particular diagnosis or treatment. I would review your concerns with the kids treating physician.
