No Worries: this is an incidental finding, doesn't really mean anything.  If your doctor is concerned about it he will follow it with serial ultrasounds.  You have enough to worry about being pregnant having diabetes and dealing with life's ever changing challenges.  Congratulations on your upcoming child!

Dilated ureters if present could be bladder reflux. May require post natal catheter to decompress bladder. Discuss with mfm specialist & consult pedi. Urologist who'll take care 4 baby after birth.

The full bladder helps ultrasound waves travel through the body providing a "window" to better see pelvic structures.
