See below: Brain atrophy should be uncommon in your age. Frontal atrophy may indicate a prior trauma, ie bad car accident or a direct hit. It may also indicate potential dementia, metabolic problems or simply dehydration. Talk to your dr and or a neurologist for further help.

Talk to your doctor : It is best to discuss your results with your doctor. The clinical significance of this result depends on your history &amp; physical in conjunction with your presenting symptoms. There are a few causes of frontal cortical atrophy. I would be encouraged by the word "mild".  Your doctor may decide to follow you with serial MRI's over time. Best wishes.

: Answers to your question are stored in our HT archives but will be repeated here yet again.  The findings must be clinically correlated and in essence, are nondiagnostic and non-specific.  This could be due to migraine, smoking, recreational drugs, prior head injury, aging, demyelination, and microvascular angiopathy, to mention a few.

Bright spots in WM: 1-2 tiny bright spots in brain may be a non specific finding. This can be attributed to various causes such as damage to nerve cells or ischemia or other similar causes. Significance of these in real life situation is not clear at this time. If they are large, multiple or in certain delicate areas of brain and patient has neurological findings - they are significant.

Lack of flare?: I’m not a radiologist but I believe a lack of flair on the T2 weighted images would suggest this.

FCD: Prefrontal cortical changes can show areas of dysplasia in your age group. This means there is an area that did not form properly when you were born. It is associated with epilepsy. Please see a neurologist and neurosurgeon to see what your best options would be depending on the frequency of the seizures.

: Any kind of "cortical involution" (i.e., decrease in normal mass) can affect cerebral function.  See a neurologist for guidance.

The key issue involves the presence of progressive loss of cognitive ability, consistent with evolving dementia.  Since this is not the case for you, thankfully, you are most likely exhibiting appropriate signs of aging.
