Circulation disorder: It could be a condition we call hemosideran deposits. These can be the result of chronic venous insuffiriency. The red blood calls can leak out of the veins and get into the layers of the skin. Almost all is re-absorbed by the body, but the pigment remains behind - kind of like a tattoo. This is a very oversimplified answer.  See a podiatrist or vascular surgeon for more details.

It is not unusual: Please get it checked by a skin specialist(dermatologist) as it can be a melanoma which does occur on the sole of foot.. Also keep an eye on it and check if it changes in size or color.That would make it suspect to be a melanoma which needs to be removed by a surgeon.

i have recently developed athletes foot and a small brown freckle has appeared on the sole of my foot! is this normal?

Athletes foot: is a type of fungus that will cause small blisters on the bottom surface of the feet. these can break open and when they dry a discolored spot will appear until it heals.  Most important is for you to get seen by a Podiatrist for a correct diagnosis and treatment so your feet can heal up!

so i have a puncture wound on bottom of foot size of a tiny freckle. i think something is in the wound. how do i get it out? i have it wrapped with gauze and tape right now but i would like to get the foreign object out very tiny?

: Can be difficult to get outIf it shows up on x- ray May be able to find by chopping around where it appears to be.

See a dermatologist.: A dermatologist will be able to tell you if it is a benign freckle, or if it needs to be biopsied. Don't delay, because if it does need to be biopsied, the sooner it is done, the better.
