Don't treat yourself: The ring finger is very important with respect to grip strength of your hand.  Orthopaedic surgeons spend years training in order to diagnose and treat these injuries properly.  Do yourself a favor and see an orthopaedic surgeon or go to an er or urgent care center to have an xray and receive proper treatment.

Usually immobilize: Often needs splinting with finger next to it, or a finger brace (cushion-lined flexible aluminum brace). Hat's pretty much it. But make sure you follow up with an orthoimproperly, prevent improper healing, affecting hand function that needs to then be treated further, including physical and occupational therapy.

4-8 weeks: It takes 4-8 weeks for finger fractures to heal. Once they have healed, your fingers will likely be stiff. You should be guided in some finger exercises by your doctor or therapist to get your hand moving normally again. If you are properly instructed on the exercises and you do them diligently, you should be back to using your hand normally relatively quickly.

It takes about 6wks: Fractures take about 6 weeks to heal. During this time, the finger is likely to be immobilized. Once the immobilization is completed, range of motion exercises are initiated. Splinted?: Is your daughter's fracture been splinted?How do u know she's losing circulation to the finger?If u feel she is call your ors ( or whoever is on call for him) right away and explain situation or go to the er.Check w/ surgeon before loosening the splint bandage . This is something that needs examination quickly . Best of luck!

Most likely U have -: an Ulnar neuropathy, called the Cubital Tunnel syndrome, which I call the "Funny Bone Nerve Irritation", which occurs in the elbow area.
Keeping the Elbow straighter will help, specially at night time.
Seeing an Orthopedist to confirm and a Neurologist to do the test for it would be helpful. Surgery will be necessary if t doesn't improve.

Digital nerve: You have irritation of your digital nerve of your finger.  I would recommend an examination by an orthopedic surgeon to make sure that it is only a temporary thing and not something more involved.

i fractured my third metacarpal in march and recently noticing that my ring finger is crossing underneath my middle finger. can this be sorted?
