Depends: Sciatica is the general term used to describe pain that goes down your leg. In reality anything from spinal disc, hip joint, spinal joints, muscles, knees and finally nerve compression can cause this.  If the pain is causing you to walk differently then the pelvic tilt is temporary.  Actual pelvic tilt is not caused by sciatica as sciatica is just a name given to a distribution of pain.

Doctor can evaluate: The pelvis is a big, strong bone... Actually several bones fused together, such as the hip bones, the sacrum (bottom of the spine), and the pubic bone. It can be tilted if one leg is longer than the other, or if one or both hip joints are abnormal (so that one leg attaches to the pelvis a little higher or lower than where the other leg attaches). An orthopedic or physical medicine doctor can help.

had microdiscectomy/flavectomy 2days ago,sciatica pain and tilted pelvis are gone...what do you recomend for these days of recovery?

After surgery: Congratulations on a successful surgery. Avoid repetitive bending and stooping in the first six weeks to prevent a recurrence of the disc herniation. Isometric exercises to strengthen the core (e.g. planks) will reduce the risk of recurrent disc herniation or delayed instability. Warm moist heat is good to relieve sore tight muscles and ice (especially at night) is good to reduce inflammation.

what could cause painful tailbone and back of hips. worse around menstration. i have a tilted pelvis would this be the cause? thanks.

Maybe: Women with a retroverted (tilted) uterus tend to have more back pain with their periods and pain on deep penetration with intercourse. If this is something new or gradually worsening, you should probably be checked to see if something else is going in, like a cyst. Pain worsening around menses could also be a sign of endometriosis.

i got an xray on my back yesterday, and my iud looks off to me. is it normal for it to be not in the center of my pelvis and slightly tilted?

Usually fine!: The uterus is not typically standing upright--it can lay tilted forward or backwards so the IUD can look a little crooked  Is this back pain SINCE IUD insertion? If you can feel your strings, you are likely OK.
Talk to your doctor, who may examine you and maybe do an ultrasound to check position--for peace of mind

See a therapist: for physical therapy.   Sounds like you are already seeing a pain doctor, and getting nerve blocks.  Your doctor may add other medications to improve your pain management.  The therapist can teach you better biomechanics and prescribe exercises to help decrease pain, and improve range of motion..
