my son has a 2 black spots under the skin of the pad part ofone of his toes. it dosent hurt and he hasn't had any trauma to his toe that he knows of.

Hard to tell: from your description. Could be mild bruising or scabs. It could be a mole or another type of skin lesion. See Podiatrist or Dermatologist if unsure.

my son came to me with a hard lump on top of his head. hard. size of small bouncy ball cut in half. no recent trauma he recalls.no pain. no redness or bruising. neuro appears  wnl.

Cyst?: A dermatologist to see this lesion because it is so atypical to have a lesion of some size suddenly on the head of young person without preceding trauma or other occurrences. Was there a bite? Was there minor trauma which could be a organizing hematoma? See your dermatologist a soon as possible!

You Got it.: It sounds like you have a good idea of just what the contributing factors are. If you activities are going to be limited and less time on hard surfaces are in the future, then the problem should resolve. But, if the activity is more or less of a more permanent nature, you will have to get a great pair of shoes. I have found that KEEN UTILITY oxfords are just what the doctor ordered.

: Have NO clue how to correlate an injury 16 yrs ago to development of hearing loss at this point in time.  Am unaware if you suffered an injury to the auditory/ vestibular apparatus years ago.
