i don't have any known food allergies, but it occurred to me that i've never had buckwheat before.  what would i monitor as a sign of allergy?

Not to Worry: Just because you haven't tried buckwheat before doesn't put you at an increased risk for allergy. Rare to develop a food allergy later in life, shellfish/peanut more common.  Food allergies are typically immediate, minutes to a half hour after ingestion of concerning food with symptoms ranging anywhere from hives, wheezing, itching, shortness of breath, wheezing, vomiting, or fainting.

Canker sore: Canker sores can be caused by a sensitivity to certain chemicals, most commonly  SLS, an common ingredient in many toothpastes. Check the labels and try an SLS free toothpaste.  Trauma, autoimmune, Vitamin deficiency can also be causes.

Stomach symptoms!: Other than obvious signs such as breaking out in hives and having trouble breathing, which occur in rare cases, the frequent symptoms of food allergy are the less serious cases of vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and exacerbation of eczema.

can i give my 15 month old peptobismol? she keeps throwing up with no signs of fever or illness.  we have checked food allergies, ans gerd (taking zantac (ranitidine) 2x daily). i cannot figure out what's wrong :-(

I wouldn't: Pepto has salycilates which we don't give tom kids under 16 because of an association with liver failure/death (Reye syndrome).Wet burps that do not result in problems with hydration often decrease with age as the reflux improves.If the kid is growing well. I would leave it alone.

after eating within 5-10 mins ..itchy skin ,runny nose, cyanosed,lightheaded,faint pulse,bp122/80,oxy sat 98%. could this b sign of food allergy?

Possibly : If the bodily reaction is occurring consistently with only certain foods.  The saturation and the blood pressure readings you have are normal.  If it is happening with any eating or swallowing then need to think about some sort of gastrointestinal disorder.  Further consultation with your GP may help here

abscess under my left breast 2 weeks. yesterday i completed course of flucloxacillin 250 started on 31 dec. i am 179kg. boil is now inflamed no sign of antibiotic having had any effect. have pcos & possibly insulin resistance and assoc food allergies?

Likely: needs surgical incision and drainage to clear the infection at this point, let your doctor know it is not better. Then they can plan the next phase of treatment.

Depends: If you have pots and have symptoms from food allergies that can worsen fatigue or change your fluid balance, the impact will be negative but mostly related to symptoms.  If you are asking if food allergies could cause pots, not likely.  I assume you mean igg food allergies, not emergent ige allergies.

No: Food allergy can present at any times in your life. Eating certain foods everyday does not increase your risk of getting allergy to that particular food. Instead, you have a higher risk of getting food allergy if you have other atopic diseases like allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, eczema, and other food allergies....

Yes: Yes, particularly in children. Most children with allergy to milk, egg and soy outgrow their allergies by age 5-6. However, childhood peanut allergy can be lifelong. In adults it is a different story. Their allergies will be lifelong once they develop it; most commonly they develop allergies to shellfish which stays on for life.

Food allergies: No.  Doesn't lead to lupus, a condition in which antibodies are made against one's own nuclear (eg dna) material.
