Safe: It is safe to topically apply topical Bacitracin ointment on folliculitis near the vagina.  Since hair follicles may be deep, the medication may not adequately penetrate to eradicate the microorganisms.  If the clinical condition persists, see your physician for an oral antibiotic.

Antibacterial soap: You can try antibacterial soap but there is no magical treatment. If these are areas you shave, try applying an antiseptic before shaving.

: Folliculitis is typically caused by short clips or shaving of the pubic hair and subsequent infection or ingrown hairs in the hair follicle. Try using a scrubbing washcloth or gentle friction in circular motion over the area to help clear the follicles and unearth the ingrown hairs. You can also apply triple antibiotic ointment to the area to keep bacteria down and prevent local infections.

Likely folliculitis: Herpes usually is very tender ulcers with swollen glands and often is not symmetric and occurs on one side, folliculitis is more like small pimples on areas where hair grows. If you think it is herpes then see your gyn for DX and treatment.

Clear blisters?: If the 2 vesicles were having tiny yellowish milky beads of pus most likely folliculitis.But if clear fluid , especially with itching ,it is likely genital herpes. Folliculitis will be painful rather than itchy. Swimming in public pool can predispose to folliculitis but not to HSV -genital infection. Hmmm, hard to say: Folliculitis usually looks very different from a genital wart.  If the growth is more 'cauliflower-like', wth irregular skin surface, or if it doesn't go away with application of compresses or even antibiotics, then another diagnosis should be considered.  A biopsy may be needed to determine definitely.
