Kidney disease: Fsg can be primary (generally, idiopathic) or secondary. Most cases of secondary fsg are related to vasculitis, lupus, IgA nephropathy. Post strep agn (psagn) does not generally cause fsg. However, often, cases of IgA nephropathy may be misdiagnosed as psgn. An easy way to differentiate the 2, is to obtain a complement C3 level. In psagn (acute stage), it should be low.

my creatinine ranges between 1.09 & 1.26, albumin is 3.4 and a/g ratio is 0.80. i have focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, should i be concerned?

Not really but...: There are a number of unanswered questions. Did you have a renal biopsy to come up with the diagnosis of FSGS, or was it diagnosed empirically? I also see that you are on immunosuppressive therapy - what meds besides Cellcept (mycophenolate mofetil)? You're 50, and you have had a cardiac catheterization, which leads me to suspect that you may have a diagnosis of atherosclerotic disease. More details need to be provided.

Transplant: Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis or fsgs has recurrence rate of 10 % after transplant. You can get another transplant and decrease rate of recurrence by getting plasmapheresis and galactose therapy before next surgery. These therapies have been shown to reduce risk in selected group of patients.

It's placebo: Hi. Alfalfa is placebo, but probably harmless. Don't neglect to use real medicine for your hypertension and dyslipidemia. Placebos are fine for the "worried well" (of which there are many). However, you have REAL medical problems, and I suggest you stick with drugs shown to be effective and safe. Good luck.

have focal active colitis, acute cryptitis and acute abscess in colon & rectum. also doc said i have ibs and high crp. no medication/treatment plan. still in pain in lower abdomen left and right side. doctor suspects crohns disease. sound accurate?

: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) not irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Colonic mucosa is normal in IBS. Yes, your biopsy report is consistent with Crohn's disease, especially if those lesions are skipped lesions which mean in between the lesions are normal colonic mucosa. In the other form of IBD, ulcerative colitis, almost all colonic surfaces are abnormal.

PVCs are not: entirely dangerous unless they start chaining together into a 10-20 beat run, at which point you would usually experience skipped beats.  I would develop a close relationship with an electrophysicist/ cardiologist in order to keep monitoring this situation together. : I think your question is about the treatment for diverticulitis. If you think the symptoms of diverticulitis have improved and you have side effects of either antibiotic(s), you can stop both. If the symptoms do not improve and you think the current regimen is not effective, augmentin should be changed. Both should be changed if you are unsure about the effectiveness or med intolerance.

Depends: On many factors. Depending on the specific drugs and the level of your blood pressure as well as the specific response to the drugs. This should be discussed with the prescribing physician.

It's the opposite: Many bullies feel inferior, rather than superior to those bullied. Most bullies, in fact, gave themselves been victims of bullying. There is no effective medication treatment for bullying.
