PVCs are not: entirely dangerous unless they start chaining together into a 10-20 beat run, at which point you would usually experience skipped beats. I would develop a close relationship with an electrophysicist/ cardiologist in order to keep monitoring this situation together. See below: Frequent PVC's can be a sign of heart disease OR may be caused by anxiety/stress, nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, decongestants, antihistamines and cocaine/amphetamines. If non of the above: you need a 24 hour Holter monitor, cardiac ultrasound and a stress test. In the absence of CAD multifocal PVC's don't indicate a worse prognosis than unifocal PVC's, but PVC's do infer an increased mortality .
