A form of biopsy: Fine needle aspirate cytology is one way to diagnose the lesions in an organ. Usually a nodule in organ, such as thyroid, is sampled by aspirating cells with a fine needle and the cells are examined by a pathologists. The usual question is: is it cancer or not cancer.

Lympnodes: 8 weeks of persistent swelling and nodes should be checked.  I recommend a general surgeon.

Calf mass: If u have a calf mass  for four years , is it painful,growing , firmly fixed to adjacent tissues?If yes then you should be seen by an experienced lower extremity surgeon. The evaluation before undergoing a biopsy is important and should be done by the ultimate treating surgeon.

NOA?: I think you have what we might call non-obstructive azoospermia despite a few sperms. We only need the number of  sperm to match the eggs from your partner. Needle aspiration is usually not reliable in this situation so open biopsy may be more successful. With so few sperm, you need ivf/icsi. Consult your specialist who has the details of your situation. what are the pros and cons of fnac vs core biopsy?

Cells vs tissue: Fnacuses a small needle to dislodge cells to see i they are malignant.  Requires expertise of a cytopathologist  to get accurate readings.
Core biopsy uses much larger needles to obtain  tissue and will be more accurate but may be more uncomfortable and occasionally lead to some bleeding.

fnac report negative, but biopsy shows burkins lymphoma.is it possible?why?

Sampling error: Fine needle aspirate of lymph nodes are not ideal for ruling out abnormal findings. Especially, with lymphomas there may be areas within the ln that are not involved and sampling of these areas may be misleading. Excisional biopsy is the gold standard, as it allows for assessment of individual cells and architecture of lymph node and adequate tissue for specialty workup.
