2 SSRI's: Did you receive your medications from two different providers or one?  The maximum FDA approved dosage of Luvox/fluvoxamine is 300 mg/day.  The maximum FDA approved dosage of Lexapro is 20 mg/day.  Many medications can be prescribed at off-label dosing (higher than FDA). The issue is that large doses of two SSRI medications could increase risk for a Serotonin Syndrome. Please discuss w your Dr.

Luvox (fluvoxamine) is approved for social anxiety and OCD and is also generic so there is also no financial gain to do any more studies.

Controlled release: In february 2008, the fda approved an extended-release capsule of Luvox -- Luvox cr --  for the treatment of social anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder (ocd) in adults. It's the same basic medicine as Luvox (fluvoxamine) but longer acting.

Similar to SSRIS: Broqdly, they are similar to drugs like Prozac so, sedation/insomnia, appetite changes, nausea, vomiting, ha, sexual side effects, anxiety.  The big issue with Luvox (fluvoxamine) is all of the medications that it interferes with.  There can also be some apathy.
