Diaphragm mass: that mass is called your xyphoid process (small bone just distal to your sternum - totally normal finding) - flutters probably small muscle spasm - go see doctor eventually to confirm what I said

Atrial Fibrillation : It sure sounds like Atrial Fibrillation, in a 53 years old male. Not related to Esophagus, probably. It is not Esophagitis, probably. Needs to be evaluated soon, though.

Get a physical exam: Based on your description, I would see your Dr to have him listen to your heart and do a thorough physical exam.  Whenever I hear the description, "fluttering", I want to take a good listen to the heart.  I may order an EKG to help assess the problem also.

Many possibilities: Muscle twitches (abdominal muscles)
Transmitted Pulse (common especially if you are lying on your left side)
Irritable bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Check with your PCP (Primary Care Provider)

"fluttering": Assuming "dpo" means "days post ovulation", if no period occurs in the next week, get a serum HCG level to determine pregnancy accurately. The "flutters" are probably just minor muscle contractions, and not related to possible pregnancy.

Likely reflux: Reflux is a natural event where stomach contents bubble up into the lower esophagus. It is when the acid backwash produces symptoms that people feel the pain &amp; get the disease label.Nicotine, caffeine &amp; laying down after eating aggravate the process.Avoiding those helps it. Medications can help for a while but changing lifestyle choices helps more.

Not enough info: Need much more info to guess at a Dx, but I did find walking pneumonia flash across my mind. Because the chest hopuses such important organs, it might make sense to have an exam. I hope it's nothing serious, but you'll get it at a good early stage whatever it is!

Many possible causes: If you have sharp pain when you take a deep breath, you may have pleuritic chest pain. Some of the more common causes of this type of discomfort include pleurisy, or an inflammation of the lining of the lung, which may be caused by a viral infection. You may also have a musculoskeletal cause for your discomfort, such as inflammation of components of the rib cage(costochondritis). Hard to be sure.

Evaluation: More details would be helpful. If the pain is on the rib cage itself, musculo-skeletal pain may be the cause. Local heat and Motrin may relieve the pain. If the pain is below the ribcage, sources of the pain may include liver, gastric and splenic disease Ruling out gallbladder disease and screening labs are suggested.
Please drink fluids, monitor your temperature and rest until seen. Check temp.

Intestines/Stomach: In your gut are the organs and the intestines.  Air, fluid and waste move through them. If there is an infection or irritation the normal processes may be interrupted, interfered with or changed.  Swelling happens, fluids don't absorb as well and what is moving through is looser than normal.
