Edema : The end stages of many cancers involve fluid in the lungs which can make breathing difficult. There are many reasons; sometimes the cancer has spread to the lungs but not always. Malnutrition and the general body wasting of cancer also plays a role.

VIsit GI ASAP:  The presence of air-fluid levels should raise the suspicion of an obstruction .there is no mention of further findings to suggest ischemic or infectious etiology.- CT can be used to diagnose intraluminal, mural, and extramural causes of LBO. In this patient a good Hx and P/E is essential to further proceed with a appropiate diagnostic test. The symptom in this patient demands  a more urgent w/u.

Air fluid levels: Did the radiologist feel there were no air fluid levels and that the films were normal? If not, air fluid levels are usually a sign of intestinal obstruction. Symptoms would be abdominal discomfort,cramps, abdominal distension, tinkling bowel sounds,nausea,vomiting  and inability to have a bowel movement. If you have these symptoms, head back to the ER. If no symptoms,? problem resolved or see MD

No: Air fluid levels can be there for many reasons besides blockage.A total bowel blockage will cause severe pain,vomiting,etc and you will not be able to pass any gas.Best to call up your primary and discuss with them.

Without additional clinical information, there is no way to ventures guess.

get 25fiber, exercise, and plenty of fluid daily. constantly constipated though. if lucky have 5 days a month that colon works. what is going on?

tough to say: Tough to say what is going on, but you have a chronic constipation with you history, and that needs to be evaluated by a GI dr.  It is a diagnosis of exclusion, but at 24, you may have ibs-c (irritable dowel syndrome with predominant constipation) and there are several medications that may help you,  best wishes.

No: Severe constipation is concerning because of how uncomfortable it can be the impact it can have if uncontrolled; however the xray with no obstruction is reassuring - but this is not always a perfect test. The air fluid level can be nonspecific sign. It is important that you get on a good bowel regimen to regulate your bowel movements.

Gas &amp; fluid: It is usually normal to see some air and fluid in the bowels.  It also depends on why you had the study done in first place.  There are conditions where this becomes important so discuss the results with your doctor

Doubtful : Air fluid levels in the colon would suggest an obstruction. Assuming you took miralax for constipation, it would be the constipation that led to x Ray findings. By the way, you may need a propulsant, like dulcolax suppository or tabs, in addition to miralax. Afterwards, try eating fiber products more often in your diet or supplementing with bran fibers (Metamucil) or citrucel (non bran bulk agent)

Confused???: I do not know what you mean by colon cancer fluid in stomach are you talking about ascites which is a free fluid in the abdomen or there is an abnormal connection because of the cancer between the colon and the stomach either way this is an advance cancer if surgery is not an option chemotherapy do not do much for colon cancer
simply follow your doctor instruction  and hope for the best.
