TINNITUS: The hissing sound (called "tinnitus" can be due to a number of inner ear problems...the most common of which is AGING which is always accompanied by high frequency hearing loss..an early manifestation of which is tinnitus....You should be evaluated by a Licensed AUDIOLOGIST to furrher clarify....don't postpone..you may be missing a lot of nice sounds

At your age,: and if there is no history of trauma or pain, then it is probably nothing to worry about, but if significantly concerning or a history of trauma, see your doctor.

Ear Wax: This could be from a number of different cause but is most likely due to ear wax build up or other foreign bodies in your ear canal. Have a health care professional examine your ears to find the answer.

Cough: Forceful coughing can headache which can be present until the cough resolves. Treat the cough  and the headache should go away. If headache symptoms worsen or you develop visual changes then see a doctor!

does "exploding head syndrome" ever involve innocuous sounds that wake you up? like alarms, rings, beeps, or creaks? i feel plagued.

Headaches: I'm a little but powerful way you describe your headaches I would suggest that you see a neurologist as quickly as possible. You should get a CT scan of the head first and maybe an MRI after the CT scan results are available. A full and complete examination especially neurological examination would be very important at this time

JHS: ? teenager has mysterious long-term "crackling sound" in cervical region. Joint crepitations are common in a condition called Joint Hypermobility Syndrome. See the Brighton Criteria and have an Osteopathic consultation.

Tinnitus: May become significant and is generally hard to treat. Starting an early assessment with your doc will be recommended. Usually an ENT evaluation is needed as well and your doc will be able to coordinate locally.

Weird neck noise: Hard to say cause as there are many possibilities.  If condition continues then it is a good idea to get a check up.

Sinus disease?: May be sinus disease and it drains when you lay in a certain position. and you can hear it. However, I am unaware of any other things that may cause this symptom. If headache persist, get seen by primary MD.

Tinnitus: Any abnormal sound in the head is tinnitus. I would see your local ENT and get a hearing test.
