when can i start leaving my baby sleeping on her stomache?

Depends on age: It is not clear what your infants age is, but some "tummy time" is good for development from birth...But sleeping on her back leads to a 50% decrease in sudden infant death. Some infants will begin to roll over in sleep by about 4-5 months and i advise that this is ok but i advise leaving them on back as long as possible for sleep initiation.

May be ok: As long as a 3 month-old baby is happy, interactive, gaining weight, not fussy; and has no ill signs such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or rashes, then he may be normal (because babies change their eating and sleeping habits as they grow). A 3 month-old baby can sleep 6-7 hours at night. The amount he breastfeeds is usually unknown (isn't measured). The doctor can re-check his weight and length.

my 7yrs old daughter had asthma and coughing tonite she is using steam vicks with water.but my 6months baby sleeping with her..is that ok for my baby?

Yes, if just asthma : If she just has asthma and no fever or any symptoms of a viral or bacterial infection it is then ok.

my baby is 1minth old and weight 3.4 she drinks 4 bottles during the day and 3 at night . she is very restless at night and can't seem to sleep peacefully. what is wrong please help?

Newborn: When you notice behavior in a child as young as one month of age, it is usually significant and important to have your pediatrician or a physicians see the child to determine if there are some underlying problems that are difficult to diagnose just by talking over the phone. There can be subtle infections that her present that would need immediate treatment.

i have a 16mon old baby at night she is very restless it's hard for her to sleep but @6am she falls in a deep sleep how can help her sleep at night?

Wake days/sleep nite: I would make a conscious effort to never let her sleep more than 2 hours at a time during the day, without at least a five minute period of alertness, before i let her sleep more. After a few days her body will shift her deep sleep to a night pattern.

Some do: It is not a reflection on you or anything in particular. If the kid is otherwise thriving/feeds okay/plays/etc. I would let it be.

Look at diet: Often night time restlessness can be do to digestive issues. Consider using a probiotic (ask ped for recc) , if new food might remove it and see if it helps.  Also any change or diruption in routine might account for it as well. Best Wishes

Basics: Avoid patterns that complicate this. A pre sleep ritual should avoid any feeds, drinks, etc. that she cannot self replicate in the night. No cuddles &amp; rocking to go down. If needed read to her from a distance &amp; tuck her in. All kids sleep in cycles. If they learn how to go down on their own (like they did in the womb) they can later.
