Sinus pain: Try a cool compress to decrease local membrane swelling and relieve a bit of pain. But never apply ice directly to skin.  Some people prefer warm, moist compresses and a humidifier.  OTC pain reliever such as ibuprofen can help pain if you have no reason that you can’t take NSAIDs.  Nasal spray decongestant can be used, sparingly, for up to 3 days max. Hope you feel better soon.

Inflamation of the facial nerve just to name a few.  If you are exhibiting such symptoms, see a dentist to evaluate your condition  and find out if the problem is dental related.

Thermography: Never heard of it for this problem. If insurance doesn't cover it it's probably because it is not accepted as a legitimate diagnostic modality. I would see an ENT specialist.

Tooth problems can lead to chronic facial pain, clenching and grinding your teeth can lead to fatigue of the jaw muscles which can lead to chronic facial pain. Many facial pain issues are caused by overactive nerves or conditions like trigeminal neuralgia. The first thing to do is rule out dental related causes.
