Typically weight loss with 6 small meals a  day,   stress reduction,  and movement through the day to lower Insulin resistance  will help. Magnesium is often low in metabolic syndrome which is common in pcos.

Probably okay: Ovaries make follicles based on hormone levels in your blood.  In ovulating women, follicles often contain eggs each month.  (sometimes not.) in older women near the end of their fertility, follicles are often without an egg.  Small follicles like you describe are usually pretty normal.  The main question is, why did you have an ultrasound? And was that specific concern answered by that test?

Accepted Answer

Normal: At 24 years of age, this is a normal almost midcycle ultrasound. Ovarian follicles are usually around 20-25mm in diameter with the endometrial stripe measuring 8-12mm at the time of ovulation.

Not usually.: A cyst is common in the 1st 10 weeks ,one which supports the pregnancy. Don't pa nix (permethrin) especially if your Ob is not concerned.

Sounds benign: Those findings are not uncommon.  To be certain a repeat ultrasound after 4 to 6 weeks could be considered.

Good: I'm assuming that you're trying to conceive?  Your endometrial thickness is great.  If by "CL" you mean corpus luteum, then that, obviously, is a good sign as the corpus luteum supports the pregnancy with hCG until the placenta takes over. I'm not sure what your doctor/sonographer meant by FF+.  FF on ultrasound sometimes means "free fluid" but did the doctor tell you it meant something else?

felt many sharp pops where my left ovary is. lasted about 5mins and pain kept increasing until there was a larger pop. no residual pain. what's up?

I do not know: As described, I am not sure what you were hearing.  It could of been a groin strain and muscle issue, not sure if it was your Ovary you were hearing?  With no pain and no issues after the noise, I would just let it go and monitor the area.  If any pain or problems, then see your Dr.  Best wishes.

No: The cyst is only 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter and may possibly be surpressed with the oral contraceptive pill before considering surgery.

Water: Free fluid is typically water.  The lining of your abdominal contents are slippery (your bowel, the lining of your organs) and it's thus wet inside your abdomen. It's normal to have a little free fluid in one's pelvis, as that's where fluid tends to pool.  Your ? Was confusing because you said free fluid in ovary but no cyst. Free fluid in ovary is typically the definition of a cyst. Maybe rephras.

can we take abortion pill when large cyst in left ovary about 9.3 cm now 6 weeks 3 days?

Accepted Answer

Yes: An ovarian cyst is not a contraindication to have an abortion. However, you should make sure you have follow up for the cyst to ensure it resolves or doesn't have any suspicious features.
