Get an evaluation: Rare cases of head injury can predispose to meningitis.  Fractures through the sinuses or petrous ridge of the skull may cause fluid leakage and entrance of bacteria.  More likely it is just a minor illness unrelated to the injury.  However, a thorough medical evaluation would be appropriate.

Sinusitis: The concussion is unrelated to the fever and nasal drip. Sinusitis is more likely the cause of the symptoms. It is uncommon to get a cerebrospinal (CSF) fluid leak after a head trauma. When a CSF leak does occur the blow is usually severe enough to cause a loss of consciousness. Imaging of the brain and sinuses will distinguish between the sinusitis and CSF leak. See an ENT specialist.
