So, stop worrying about it and see what it may be in follow-up US as long as you&#x27;re clinically sound for normal pregnancy. In fact, nothing could be done anyway even if something is serious. So, seek pro-counseling

No Worries: this is an incidental finding, doesn't really mean anything.  If your doctor is concerned about it he will follow it with serial ultrasounds.  You have enough to worry about being pregnant having diabetes and dealing with life's ever changing challenges.  Congratulations on your upcoming child!

Could be: Amniotic fluid includes urine made by the fetus during pregnancy.Those that have poorly formed or no kidneys or a severe blockage to their urine outflow, will not create enough amniotic fluid. The fetus remains so tightly shrinked wrapped, that they also can have poor lung growth (no room).These can survive pregnancy but die soon after birth. A loss early in pregnancy may indicate another issue.

Dilated Pelvis: Prenatally it is not uncommon to see these things on ultrasound and certainly they need to be followed during the subsequent weeks. But often they resolve and can be minor things. Following by ultrasound is very important and will give the answers you are looking for.
