Need Evaluation: Could be almost anything. Infection, blood clot in the veins, bone or muscle tumors, pinched nerve. You need to be seen by a physician and properly evaluated.

Pain: There are several routes you can take on your own.  Call a local hospital and ask for a referral , call the local medical society and see if there is a referral service.  If that fails , call an orthopedist and ask if they do that or can make a referral.

It really depends upon the specifics.

If you have an angiulated joint, a leg length discrepany,  or another problem with the mechanical axis of the limb it can affect you.

From what you describe, you need to see someone. It could be the old injury, or posture, or both.
In addition if Accutane is not agreeing ewith you tell your prescribing doctor.

i recently had a ct scan and my doctor said that i have a crack in the head of my femur. should i be walking on this injury or using crutches/wheelchair?

Need more info: It really depends on what is meant by a "crack", and where it is located.  Please contact your doctor and ask.  A consultation with an orthopedic surgeon may be helpful.

If the "crack" is large enough or in a location which increases the risk of a complete fracture, then not bearing weight (using crutches) would be appropriate.

Also, you should ask what caused the "crack".

i've been having right hip pain for 2 weeks, started while walking up a steep hill, no blunt injury. rice & nsaid only helps temporarily. dexa incidentally show a lytic lesion in right proximal femur where it hurts. does that mean i may have fracture?

12/2019 mri dislocated patella, bone bruise on the femur and patella, mpfl damage, mild meniscus tears (dance injury). returned to swim too soon, but then rested w pt for 9wks. now medial pain/snap when swim/run, shaky for 1 leg squats. is this bad?
