Feels full of "air": Feeling full of "gas" may reflect malabsorption of food (like gluten, lactose), intake of poorly digested food, or choosing foods known to promote gas (beans, fizzy drinks).  Sometimes its more complicated--a stomach emptying too slowly, bacterial overgrowth syndrome, delayed intestinal function, partial obstruction from any cause, infection, rectum problems, and pelvic pathology outside the gut.

Maybe hiatal hernia: Large hiatal hernias could be responsible for that sensation, although by itself does not point to a specific diagnosis. An upper GI contrast study would be a good place to start after seeing your primary care doctor first. Hope you feel better.

Stomach gas: Multiple possibilities:  gastritis, ulcer. Gallbladder, gastroparesis.  You should probably get checked if this hurts a lot.  One thing Otc to try is a product with simethicone.

Excessive gas : If food is not adequately digested, especially carbohydrates, it can lead to excessive gas from interaction of the sugar and the bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. An acute GI bug can cause similar symptoms. Taking digestive enzymes with meals can help as can probiotics, which help correct any gut bacteria imbalances. Diet changes may be needed if problem persists.

Bloating, watch food: this sounds like bloating which is your intestines filling with air. I would first suggest taking out all sugar and yeast from your diet. Eat real food, no packaged edible product. Your body will thank you!

Bloating : Try altering your diet. I cut down how much dairy and milk I drink and this seemed to help. Most people as they age have a lactose intolerance. I supplemented calcium and vitamin D with other foods.

Causes may be mechanical (obstruction, or stomach outlet narrowed from healing of past inflammation, treated by endoscopic dilation), post-inflammatory (due to swelling of the stomach lining from ulcers, treated with acid blockers), neurologic (as with diabetes, treated with rx that stimulates motility--domperidone, erythromycin, reglan), gastric pacer.
