Palpitations: Palpitations after meals can occur if the stomach becomes distended. The palpitations may simply be a reflex slight increase in heart rate or can be the appearance of actual rhythm disturbances like a series of premature atrial or ventricular beats. Nausea and sweaty palms may be secondary reactions from vagus nerve activity. See your MD for evaluation and testing with heart monitor as needed,

i received 2nd dose of covid vaccine yesterday (moderna) and have a sore arm along with feeling tired/run-down. my period started today, so that may also play into the fatigue, but for the vaccine-related tiredness, how long does it typically last?

: 2-3 days, usually.  Stay well hydrated,  take Motrin or Tylenol as needed, and rest.

Stop: If there is a question stop the med and see. One other thing you mention in the meds is caffeine. This will produce the symptoms that you mention if taken too  much. Try avoiding both and see how you do. Mention it to your doc.

Infection: It may be viral but it could be bacterial as well.You might see your doctor for a throat culture to rule out strep.At the same time your doctor can check to see if you have the flu.

White tongue: Except for a yeast infection,white tongue usually does not denote a serious health issue, but fatigue and hair loss may. Conditions like thyroid disorder, anemia, vitamin deficiencies,diabetes are examples.

Chronic fatigue: Chronic fatigue is something that is becoming increasingly recognized in medical practice.  Unfortunately fatigue can be a symptom of nearly any medical condition (both physical and psychological).  I'd suggest seeing your doctor for an evaluation.  It prob will include some basic lab work, EKG, etc. Be sure to mention any recent infections you may have had. Hope that helps!

Treat reason: There are many causes of tiredness, and treatment is of the underlying cause. Reasons may include depression, low thyroid hormone, medications, poor sleep from anxiety or sleep apnea or restless legs or irregular sleep habits or not enough hours of sleep, or a number of other reasons.  It is worthwhile discussing with your primary care physician, to narrow down the likely causes of your tiredness.
