Globus: Some people  complains  about  this sort of sensation,   may  need to have a   ENT specialist  take a look at you or  your primary care .

my symptoms: very red throat, postnasal drip, feels like a lump in my throat when swallowing. no strep, no fever. i don't have allergies that i know of but dr said allergies (?) can allergies give me such a red throat? it's very raw. cbc good?

: Most non-strep sore throats are triggered by viruses (like mono) bur can be triggered by irritants (Dust/allergies/dry air/inhaling fumes/etc.). Strep is one of the only causes that would benefit from antibiotics. The other are treated with comfort measures.

: We call this Globus sensation. It is often not concerning and associated with anxiety.It can come from GERD. See your doctor

Throat lump: Lumps in the neck can sometimes be a variety of things, like normal salivary glands or lymph nodes.  Other things such as congenital mass and cysts can also occur.  You could also have something like a tumor.  It is best to have it looked at to make sure you know what it is so you can get the right treatment, if you need it.

Throat: The bumps are probably your taste buds or circumvallate papilla. If you are not sick at this moment, could be dehydration or a sign of acid reflux, less likely thyroid enlargement.

hi, i have got a baby 9months old, he has a lump on the right side of the throat, whenever he swallow his food has difficulty. is there any problem?..

If there's a lump: inside his mouth/throat and he is having difficulty swallowing, please see his doctor. The two issues may not be related, but it would be difficult to say without seeing him and his throat. Until you see his doctor, consider having him eat soft foods, to lessen the chance of choking.

Not sure: I'm not sure i know what your problem was and is, but one possibility is enlargement of your thyroid gland. An ultrasound of your neck could check this. If this doesn't show anything, then a look down your throat with a camera scope may be in order.

Thick mucus in throa: You may be mouth breathing and/or have post nasal drip. Both can lead to drying of mucus as it moves from the back of the nose to the throat, causing it to thicken and "stick" to the back of the throat. This leads to the sensation of a lump in the throat which can wake you up with the urge to cough and clear your throat. 
Stay hydrated, make sure you don't snore, try saline gargles. See your doc.

Dysphasia: Or difficulties swallowing should be investigated promptly. Please keep track of the type of the food that is causing more trouble, specifically solids/liquids, and if symptoms are progressive or not. Usual work up includes a Barium swallow and an upper endoscopy.
